Dr. Ankit Mangla is a clinical assistant professor of internal medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and the co-director of the Sarcoma and Cutaneous Oncology Disease team at University Hospitals, Seidman Cancer Center, Cleveland, Ohio. His primary interests include drug development for rare diseases such as soft tissue sarcoma and skin cancers. He is a principal investigator on multiple phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical trials and has published several articles in the New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA Oncology. He is also a clinical researcher who has mentored numerous fellows and physicians. Passionate about patient education, Dr. Mangla has written several book chapters and online pieces to help patients understand the complexities of various diseases and their treatments.
