Feel like I was doing something wrong for asking for meds to help with quality of life and offered instead to have me see a surgeon they scheduled me to operate and then backed out at last moment so I haven't been back to the doctor in 2 months because of this

A lot can be done nutritionally with help with pain while you are trying to find the correct doctor for you. I find Earl Mindel's Vitamin Bible an excellent resource for the novice.

Dealing with constant pain is tough, and it’s not right that you felt dismissed when seeking help. This community is for those living with desmoid tumors, but we're happy to support you. @A MyDesmoidTumorTeam Member also has Fibroid Tumors I believe and maybe she can give you some support.

Have you considered seeking a second opinion or finding another specialist who might be more understanding? Sometimes, finding the right doctor can make a huge difference. How are you managing the pain right now? The community here is always ready to support you. πŸ’œ
