My Balance Continues To Deteriorate, Could This Be A Result Of The Desmoid Tumor?
JenniferLe posted about taking estrogen, that supposedly makes desmoid
tumors grow more aggressively from what I have read and what my doctors
said. I don't think this is info I should post. I am not a doctor.
Sorry I didn't see your recent note about having a tumor in your ear. It is quite possible that it's causing you balance problems. I still will advise you to see your doctor ASAP before you have a fall.
Yes, balance issues could potentially be related to a desmoid tumor, especially if the tumor is pressing on nerves or affecting muscles in areas like the extremities. Tumors in these locations can impair movement or cause weakness, which might impact your balance. It's important to discuss these symptoms with your doctor to Show Full Answer
Unless the tumor is in your ears or somewhere in your brain (not likely) my assumption would point to an allergy, fluid in the inner ear, maybe even a slight cold. Go see your family doctor before jumping to conclusions. It probably is an easy fix and not much to worry about.
